This video is about how to capture the factory file to send to Optimal using the MPVi3 and HP Tuners Software on your 2022 Ram 2500. This is basically the first step in the process after purchasing the tunes from Optimal.
Steps:
- Install your SGM Bypass cable.
- Connect up your MPVI3 hardware to the OBD2 port and select READ VEHICLE
- Save the .hpt file it gives you.
- Send Optimal your .hpt file, your new ECM serial number (S/N on the sticker) and your MPVI Serial from the back of the device.
